I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through NASM - National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am enthusiastic, self motivated, and a hard worker. I thrive off of positive energy and encouraging others with the same.

I have been a personal trainer for 3 years, and I have been into fitness and healthy living my whole life. My interests include outdoor activities such as: hiking, board sports, camping with my family, capoeira on the beach, running, and anything that has to do with being out in the elements. I am an ambitious person and love fitness and all that comes with it.

Training others is a gift for me; I get joy from helping my clients reach their specific goals through motivation and hard work. Witnessing my clients happiness with their success is what pushes me most in being a trainer.

My interest in fitness started with a love of movement and being outside. My mother certified me with ants in my pants as a kid. Learning to control my body to do the things I want to do is a fun challenge for me. I'm proud of my Crossfit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids certification, but most exciting for me was the CF Coaches Prep Course. I also hold many other certifications. I love to see people succeed. It is fun to see someone accomplish something, especially a client successfully learning a skill or reaching a goal, no matter how small. It fuels my intense desire to do things.

Previous to being blessed with two children you would have found me traveling around as an airline pilot and flight instructor. I also worked as a professional organizer. Those jobs helped cultivate my immense patience with people. If you name an activity I've probably tried and liked it, but my favorites are Capoeira, Horseback riding, Skiing, Snowboarding, Dance, Trail running and Biking. Now working as a trainer pulls all of my interests and talent into the perfect role for me, helping people.

More recently I became a cancer survivor. However I don't think labels define us. "Life isn't what it's supposed to be. It is what it is. It's how you handle it that makes the difference". I think we have the power to continue to define ourselves and to grow.
